Transaction Cancelled By Xoom

I am royally pissed at Xoom right now. I just had a transaction canceled by them, and get this, in less than two minutes after the transaction took place. Here's proof of my source of rant today:





Bullheaded that I am, I still contacted Xoom, despite the fact that they are infamous for their customer service. Somehow, I still hope for the miracle that Xoom might somehow clear things out for simple-minded people like me. I just need a simple explanation for my question.

Why the hell did you cancel the transaction?


Checked my inbox, and oh. Wonders of wonders! They answered in less than thirty minutes! Boy, that was lightning fast! I was truly amazed. Maybe there's still hope in the world, after all. BUT NO. I should have sensed there was something fishy when they responded that fast. Guess what they told me? A disgustingly copy pasted generic answer form that in no effing way helped me.

They make me laugh, Xoom does. Now I know why the company I am freelancing for does not want to use Xoom as their payment method. I therefore am taking a strong stand that:

I WILL NOT USE XOOM'S SERVICES AS LONG AS I LIVE. EVER.

THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE POSTING GOOD THINGS ABOUT XOOM SAYING THEY HAVE VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THIS *%&$$5%$# AND ARE RECOMMENDING IT ARE PROBABLY WORKING FOR THIS *%&$$5%$#. I JUST HAD THE SAME TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE WITH XOOM!! THE TRANSACTION WAS CANCELLED WITHOUT EVEN GIVING ME ANY REASON.. NOW I HAVE FINISHED EATING ALL MY NAILS THINKING HOW CAN I REACH XOOM BY PHONE AND IF MY MONEY WOULD BE REFUNDED....

hi anonymous! i dunno how to reach you but i hope you read this..i got my money back one week after the cancellation. it was a long week, but i got it back. :) i hope you get yours refunded too :)

oh my.. ito nga ung una naming choice before kame mag paypal eh. eh di namin magets. LOL. kaya yun. ang adsense naman sa Western Union eh. tapos ung mga clients, sabi Paypal daw. kahit takot kame paypal noon, kase nga ang daming lumalabas na scam daw paypal.

ah naalala ko na. ung Xoom gamit nung friend nya sa payment sa pakikpag trade ng anime. adik

you know ba na may nagdonate kay daniel ng Php 5,000 thru xoom addressed sa mom ni daniel.. and shoot til now wala. nada. walang nakuha sa xoom. i wonder nsan na ung donation na un napunta...

I recently registered at xoom, hoping to get my money from paypal really fast, good thing I didn't pursue with the transaction

Xoom Sucks for sure.

We have used and referred nearly 40 clients to xoom, Now some policy has changed, They keep all my transfers cancelled.


The most pathetic thing, customer service does not want to spend a min with reciver. They want to speak only to sender. WTF.

I refered sender to xoom to get me paid, xoom is making money from me but they dont want to speak to me.

NEVER EVER USE XOOM>

Don't EVER use xoom. Customer service is horrible, they cancel ALL transactions for no reason, they take money from your bank account even though they cancelled the transaction. Don't even try it, even if it was recommended to you.
